Finally, the day has arrived! On June 23, Gov. Rick Scott signed into law two Senate bills expanding the availability of medical marijuana to qualified patients. Seriously ill patients no longer have to wait 90 days—they can begin treatment on their first visit. Also, the new law allows the use of medical marijuana pills, edibles, and vape pens as well as oils, making it much easier to administer.
